MeetThe Founder
In 2021, I was diagnosed with Stage II Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in my right breast cancer that spread to my lymph nodes. Nothing prepares you for how much your life changes because of one sentence, "It's cancer." I was navigating treatment, motherhood, faith, fear, healing, and trying to still show up as me… even when I didn’t recognize my body or my emotions anymore.
What The Pxnk is the space I wish I had back then.
It represents the feelings we don’t always have the words for or can't always say. The “what the f…?” moments you experience during diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
The confusion.
The exhaustion.
The grief.
The strength you didn’t know you had. The parts of the journey that aren’t always pretty, but at the same time are very REAL and UNREAL.
This space is about honesty, healing, and community. About reminding you that it’s okay to feel everything and that you don’t have to carry it alone. It’s for survivors, fighters, caregivers, and anyone learning how to love their body and themselves again after trauma.
I’m still healing. Still growing. Still figuring things out.
But I’m walking this journey with purpose and I created What The Pxnk so you wouldn’t have to walk yours alone.
